October 23rd, 2008 by cphillipsThe 6th grade just finished The Giver by Lois Lowry. Most really enjoyed the novel, some found it kind of weird, others said it could have been written better. Most importantly, however, is that we have had FABULOUS classroom discussion on theme, inference, character development and what creates effective societies. YIPPIEEEE!!!
